25 January – 19 February 2027
12 h (2 CFU)
The course introduces the fundamental principles of adsorption on solid surfaces and their role in the characterization of porous materials. The main adsorption isotherms, theoretical models (BET, Langmuir, DFT), and experimental methodologies for determining surface area, pore size distribution, and adsorption properties will be presented. Application case studies on functional materials, catalysts, and gas capture systems will be discussed.
The course will be held online.
